Introduction
Our Company is a family-run business created in 1920. We have about 100 years of expertise in the Honey market and continue to be Beekeepers. We have 7000 hives in France and buy honey from small producers in France too.
We are market leader in France with 44% market share for our brands and Number 2 in the world by our production volume (22,000 tons per year). In France our brand "Lune de Miel" (honey moon) is the NATIONAL Brand.
We have the biggest Private Laboratory for Honey in the World: we control the quality of every bulk (not only every batch n°!) on 15 points, and the quality of our products during all the process. We obtained the following international Certificates: HACCP, BRC, IFS and ISO 22000 (in progress). We have two know-how in our process who are completely automatic. Our products are exported to 67 Countries all over the world: USA, Canada, all Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia,Middle East Countries, Africa, South East Asia.
Economic Segment
The economic honey segment is the *Star* Performer in Lune de Miel. The nectar of blossoms and the sun have produced this noble honey gathered by bees. The honey is selected for is liquid consistency, as well as its delicate fragrance. They are carefully packed to preserve its natural properties.
Squeezy Honey 250g
The flavour is the result of a blend of several distinctive honeys: acacia and orange blossom. Ideal for young consumers
Monofloral Segment
A type of honey of high value because of its distinctive flavor or other attribute due to its being predominantly from the nectar of one plant species. Beekeepers learn the predominant nectar sources of their region, and often plan harvests to keep especially fine ones separate. Monofloral honeys are also kept in separate tanks and labeled separately so as to command a premium price.
Orange Blossom Honey 250g
Contains fragrances of acacia flowers with the delicacy of orange blossom (orange blossom flowers and citrus fruit). Orange blossom honey has very slight sourness, average persistence and good sweetness. Medium light. Ideal for using in stir fries, with duck or fresh fruit salads.
Acacia Honey 250g
Light, floral nuances combines incomparable sweetness and finesse. Acacia honey is mild but deliciously sweet and fruity. It has lower acid content than other honey. Perfect on toast, yoghurts, desserts and hot drinks
Multi Flower Segment
For consumers looking for natural purity. A distinctive blend of unique pure honey from the very best terroirs of pastures and forests. Beekeepers learn the predominant nectar sources of their region, and often plan harvests to keep especially fine ones separate.
Mountain Honey 250g
The floral source comes from black alder, brambles, rosemary, lavender and thyme. Mountain honey has a wooded and flowered smell with wooded flavour with a hint of liquorice. Ideal with pastries and for cooking.
“Beehive” Honey Segment
The “Beehive” is a flexible, ergonomic, easy to use squeezy jar, practical and stable with cap at bottom. Each identified by its colour code on the bottle, depending on taste and flavour. The unadulterated work of the bees; collected the traditional ways by beekeeper. Original & Tasty
Strong Woodlands Honey 250g
Bracing & resinous personality carries the coolness found in the depths of pine forest offset by the malty sweetness of eucalyptus. A strong dark honey.
